The Occupational Chaplains supplies a hands-on, cost saving service that functions as an extremely effective Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

§ Companies have stated that their financial reports show a savings of about $4.00 for every $1.00 they spend on chaplain services in related costs such as employee turnover, training money, lower production, loss of valuable upper management time and rate of absenteeism all of which are reduced when chaplains are employed.

§ Industrial America has proven that EAPs are very needed, however; they are only used by approximately 8% of the employees. When a chaplains program is added to the EAP it then becomes used by approximmately 55% of the employees after one year.
§ Chaplains free up Human Resource Department and the mid-level management team to do more productive work. Meeting the physical and emotional needs of a valued employee and their immediate family is time consuming. Even in a small company just sending someone to represent the company at funerals and hospitals becomes very costly, yet the company cannot afford to be perceived that they do not care about their employees.
