At 11 years old, Brandi began attending church with her mother and stepfather at First Church of Hobart, Hobart In, Rev Jonathon Barley. She fell in love with the church, within a year she was baptized and received the Holy Ghost. A couple of years later, she began to feel desire to be in ministry.  Her first involvement was with choir, eventually helping in assisting Bible study groups, and the worked in the church preschool daycare, First Academy. 

In May of 2000, she met her future husband Clint Hood when he moved to the area with his parents. In June of 2003 they married and moved to Apostolic Faith Church in Racine Wi, Rev Shumacher. While there, he assisted with Youth Ministry and they both were involved with greeting and Children’s Ministry.

In Dec 2004, God transitioned them to Tupelo, MS area and they began attending Apostolic Life Church, Rev Danny Robbins. Since they have been with Apostolic Life, Brandi has been involved in many of the different ministries: Choir/Praise team, Children’s ministry - teaching and music, Youth Ministry, Young Adults/Marrieds, as well as Hostess Director. She also assisted at the a Spanish daughter work church with music and assisting Bible studies. Her husband is one of the ministers assisting our Pastor along with Board member, Board Secretary, Youth S.S. teacher and Men's Director. They have 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Juliette. From 2006 - 2017, she worked full-time in back office banking assisting branches with internal procedures of computer programs and documentation. Since Oct 2017, she has been a stay at home mom and home-school parent.
